What Digitz collects

When a refurbisher tests a device with Digitz, the station sends the test result to Digitz Cloud: device model, serial number and IMEI, hardware test outcomes, battery health, carrier and blacklist status, erase certificate, cosmetic grade, the testing organization and station, and the time of the test. Digitz does not collect the contents of a device — no photos, messages, accounts or personal files — and the device is erased as part of the process when the refurbisher chooses to erase.

Public device records

A Digitz Certified record (digitz.com/d/…) shows the test outcome for a serial number or IMEI so that a buyer can verify what was tested. It contains no information about any previous owner.

Sign-up and portal

When you request access we store the company, contact name, email, phone and notes you provide, and use them to set up and support your account. We do not sell this information.

Hosting and retention

Digitz Cloud runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Test records are retained for the life of the customer account plus 24 months so device history remains verifiable. Contact hello@digitz.com for access, correction or deletion requests.
